About us
Crescent Yum Cha started with a request for our Award Winning Dim Sum Chef to make a tailored Halal Yum Cha range back in 2020. After years of trialling, testing and even more trialling and testing we feel we have curated a range that everyone will love and can enjoy, including our brothers and sisters that this very range was made for.
About our products
Crescent Yum Cha is a 100% Halal Yum Cha Production Facility with a Yum Cha Range tailored to the highest of international standards. We only use hand slaughtered meats that are exclusively supplied from Butcher on Wellington at South Granville, NSW.
Our range has been designed and curated from our very own Award Winning Dim Sum Chef that comes from a fine dining background. Our mission is to bring you restaurant styled Yum Cha that you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home at your own leisure either on your own, or with family and friends.
Food Information
Yes. Our commercial kitchen has been Halal Certified along with our 100+ individual ingredients and our actual range have all been 100% Halal Certified.
Unlike any other Halal Certified production facility our Certifications is to the highest of international standards and only permits us to use Hand Slaughtered meats. All our meats are exclusively from Butcher on Wellington.

Our dumplings, both potstickers and soup dumplings are all 30g in size. Unlike any other dumpling on offer sold frozen (that range between 15g -20g), we focus on giving you MORE filling and less flour, for that restaurant experience.
At present we have one vegetarian/vegan option and that is our Mixed Veggie Dumpling.
Our potsticker dumplings are easiest healthy snack you can possibly imagine, all you need is a pot and stove and 6 minutes!
All our items are to be cooked from frozen. Please do not thaw out and refreeze.
Bring water to boil in a pot then place dumplings in medium sized pot for 5 minutes. Ensure you stir dumplings so they don't stick to bottom of the pot by turning a spatula through the pour every minute or so, then returning lid each time. Cook until all dumplings have risen to the top of the water without descending.
Once all dumplings are floating, turn heat to low and boil for another minute. Use a straining utensil to retrieve or gently pour dumplings into a strainer and serve.
You can always throw them on a saucepan after with a little bit of oil to pan fry them and give them that golden crispy skin that is so YUM!

Frequently asked question
All orders need to be in by 5pm each day for next day delivery. Any orders after 5pm will be allocated to the following delivery day.
Minimum order for delivery is $40.
$40-$119 is $20 Delivery Fee
$120+ Delivery is free
Delivery Times (select at checkout)
Morning Delivery 6am-10am
Day Delivery 10am-2pm
Afternoon Delivery 2pm-6pm
We only delivery Monday to Friday at the moment.
Note. If you can't ensure you will be at the place of delivery for either 10am for the morning time slot, 2pm for day time slot or 6pm for evening time slot, we can't guarantee the integrity of the product remaining frozen.
You will be provided with a text message when your order leaves our kitchen and provided a tracker to see the ETA of your delivery.
Crescent Yum Cha only delivers to Sydney Metro at the moment however we are about to roll out delivery to all of New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
If you're unsure, use the tool at the top of the home page to confirm delivery availability, based on your post code.
Use this first please, as this will be used to determine delivery availability.
Alternatively, from the cart you can input your post code below the sub total price. This will tell you if we can deliver to your area and also it will give you the dates we can deliver.
We will be notified when every delivery has been dropped off and will be provided proof of delivery.
If you have any issues regarding the integrity of the product you will need to raise these concerns via text message with photos of the issue to 0450 986 242 by no later than 10.30am for the morning time slot, 2.30pm for day time slot and 6.30pm for the evening time slot. Any notice after that and we won't be able to assist you, as we have explained the Terms and Conditions.
If you are not home our delivery drivers will place your order in a secure location. If an unfortunate event occurs such as rain/theft, then unfortunately it is out of our hands.
If you live in a unit and our delivery driver is not granted access, we will leave the delivery in a safe place however as you have selected the time slot, if there is theft we can not do anything about that.
